NEW STAFF - How to Reset your password on Mac Operating System
Mac OS allows users to change their AUB (AD) passwords at the login screen.
Please note: you can only change your password on site at AUB when connected via AUBCOBO or via a network cable.
You will be prompted at the Login Screen of your Mac 28 days before your password expires. Please ensure you restart your Mac regularly to be notified to change your password.
1. Make sure eduroam WiFi is FORGOTTEN on all mobile devices including Tablets before attempting to change your password.
Apple iPhone - Click 'Forget this Network'. Please see below video on how to forget eduroam on an iOS device.
Please note phones which use Android may look different. Two versions are shown below.
Android Phone - Click 'Forget network' or 'FORGET'.

2. Logon to your computer. If your password is due to expire, you will be prompted to change your password.
3. Click 'Change Password'. Ensure your new password has at least eight characters, a Capital letter and a number.

4. Enter your new password into both boxes and then click 'Reset Password'. You will then be logged onto your computer with your new password.

6. Click 'Yes'. You should see the message below:

7. Enter your new password, make sure you tick the box to remember your password in my key chain and then click 'OK'. Your email account has now been updated with your new password. This completes the password update.
