NEW STUDENTS - How to connect to eduroam with an Android phone
Eduroam is the university’s wifi service for non-AUB devices, available to both staff and students.
This guide will help you connect to eduroam on an Android device.
First go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > Wi-Fi Settings.
Next, select eduroam from the list of available wireless sources.
Please note that all fields should be left blank unless listed below. Some fields may not be shown by default.
Change the EAP type to PEAP.
The Phase 2 Authentication should be set to MSCHAPV2.
Ensure that the Certificate is set to Do Not Validate.
If that is not available, use Trust on First Use.
In Identity input your full AUB email address.
In Password input your AUB password.
Make sure the MAC Address Type is set to Phone Mac.
Finally, press Connect and Trust any certificate if prompted to.
